This is a radio series which has been running since the beginning of 2010 and this website has been set up to accompany it. Hundreds of objects have been submitted from museums across the country.
There are several ways of navigating the site; there are tabs across the top for 'home', 'explore', 'programmes', 'In your area', 'blog', 'Learning' etc.
The 'explore' tab brings up a cloud of objects and you can zoom back and forth in time by moving along the timeline on the right of the page. Each object has a record showing location, culture, period, theme, size, colour and material. Each of these can be used to explore other related items, so for instance you can explore Inca objects, medieval objects or even purple objects! Click here to visit the site.
